Are you someone who loves God with a passion, or have you become lukewarm? Maybe you’re like the Church of Laodicea who felt they had enough resources and didn’t need God.

You are neither hot nor cold; you are lukewarm. God says He will spew you out of his mouth. He knows your works.

Are you honoring the Lord, or simply self-serving?

Dear friends, be blessed by this special sermon I preached when I was in the beautiful land of Israel. It is called “Jesus Draws Near When You Are Discouraged."

I always love visiting Israel—the land that is so dear to God’s heart and where so many significant biblical events took place. 3 years ago, I had the amazing privilege and opportunity to preach at Caesarea Maritima. It was here that the apostle Peter first preached to the Gentiles, and the Holy Spirit fell on them. It was here that the apostle Paul gave his defence of the gospel before King Agrippa. And it was from here that the gospel of grace first went forth into the world. Caesarea Maritima is such a special place because it was here that the Lord made it known that the good news is for everyone!

And that includes you.

So please enjoy this special message I preached at Caesarea Maritima. If life has left you feeling discouraged and disappointed, I believe you’ll be uplifted and strengthened by this word. In this sermon, I share how you can receive restoration for your broken heart and dreams and how your discouragement doesn’t have to derail you from your God-given destiny. Take heart, my friend, for our Lord Jesus has come to lift you out of your discouragement and lead you on a renewed path of hope and purpose!

⁣The Last Champion is an inspirational family sports drama that will have you believing in second chances.

John Wright was a hometown hero – the powerful star of his high school wrestling team and a promising Olympian. He could have had it all... but one bad decision destroyed his dreams and forced him to leave under a cloud of scandal that has haunted him ever since.

Twenty years later, John returns to his small town after his mother’s death, hoping to save his family home from foreclosure. His icy reception proves that his former friends and neighbors still haven’t forgiven him for letting them down. Unexpectedly, John gets the opportunity to turn everything around– by coaching his high school’s wrestling team. There he meets Michael, a talented underdog with a troubled homelife who faces a vicious opponent out to destroy him both on and off the mat. Can John become the leader the team and Michael needs, or will he lose himself to the dark demons of his past?

The Last Champion is an inspirational family sports drama that will have you believing in second chances. Beautifully photographed in the Pacific Northwest, it’s a story about faith, loss and redemption starring Cole Hauser (Yellowstone), Hallie Todd (Lizzie McGuire), Randall Batinkoff (X-Men: First Class) and Peter Onorati (This is Us). The film is directed, produced and co-written by actor Glenn Withrow (The Outsiders).

Every day, we’re confronted with the realization that we fall short of who, and where, we want to be. But the beautiful thing about Jesus is that He is on His way right to us. He will guide our tumultuous transitions, reveal our real selves, and teach us how to reconcile our human contradictions with His holy grace. While scholars debate the timing of the Rapture, the world has lost why this event is prophesied to occur in the first place; knowledge that was once understood by those in the first century. Today, researchers in the Middle-East have rediscovered ancient anthropological evidence from the time of Christ that reveals exactly how and why the Rapture must occur; unveiling new biblical insight that will reignite hope for believers and prepare the world for what's coming.

The enemy knows your patterns, so he’s been hitting you with the same strategy. Enough is enough!
